Speaking

Steven Hoober has written books on mobile design patterns and best practices for O’Reilly and Smashing, and is best known for his ongoing research into how people really use touchscreen phones and tablets. Originally a graphic designer, he has been a “web designer,” front end developer, UX coder, information architect, DBA, and human factors engineer, and but has focused on user experience and usability for mobile and multi-channel products since 1999. Steven has designed numerous products in use globally including the first Google mobile search, the first mobile app store, mobile browsers for companies including Samsung, websites like Weather.com and Lowe's home improvement, and apps for companies like Hallmark, US Bank, Cummins and HP.
